Janet Cozzens, founder and designer of Mystic Stone Jewels, has been designing wire wrapped jewelry for many years. Mystic Stone Jewels was created in June of 2009, after Janet lost her job and became officially unemployed. She had no idea at the time that losing her job would elevate her to where she is today. Her love for stones and wire became the foundation for her business, and being able to share her gifts with you has become her greatest joy.
Today Mystic Stone Jewels offers unique and elegant fantasy jewelry that tells a story. Her love for writing has been incorporated into her offerings, bringing something very special and uncommon to her art. More information about Janet can be seen on her about page.
Janet’s jewelry creations have been featured several times on www.wiresculpture.com. She was also chosen as Wire Artist of the Month for March of 2012. Janet is also a lifetime member of Self Representing Artists in Jewelry Design and has been featured in NBC, ABC, the CW, the Boston Globe, and Wall Street Select.
Janet enjoys teaching and has taught many wire wrapping classes at Northwest College through Powell Valley Community Education. She was chosen for the cover for their Spring, 2015 publication.
